I usually assume that more is better. A more expensive product in a competitive lineup is typically superior to others. With that notion in mind, I tested a variety of vehicle awnings, ranging from impractical to downright useless.

The answer I found was perplexing, as the awning was the cheapest on the list, cumbersome to set up and break down, and it wasn’t exactly a quality product. I am referring to a design popularized several years ago by REDCAMP. To save you a lengthy description, here’s a photo of the thing.
