Winterthur, Delaware

Winterthur in April sits right at that brief, perfect edge between early spring restraint and full-blown bloom. The gardens wake up in layers—azaleas, magnolias, and fresh green canopies unfolding across the rolling landscape—while the estate still carries a quiet, almost private feel before peak season crowds take over. These images capture that in-between moment: soft light, saturated color, and the sense that everything is just beginning to stretch out again after winter.
